I so excited to announce that has featured my work on there website and Facebook page.
The Jazz Network Worldwide, is a great website and Jazz network from ~ Jaijai Jackson; who dedicated her website to her father, jazz legend bassist “Chubby” Jackson for his contribution to jazz and entertainment.

Charles Mingus
Charles Mingus was a respected bass player, a band leader, and a composer. He recorded with the all time greats Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and Duke Ellington. Mingus was at the forefront of the avant-garde movement in jazz. His 100 albums bear witness to his creative body of work.
Sarah Vaughn
I first saw Sarah Vaughan at Carnegie Hall in NYC. The acoustics in Carnegie Hall are outstanding. The volume of sound she generated and her range from the very high to the lows was phenomenal. Her voice made the whole Hall vibrate. She was one of a kind.
Al Jarreau
Al Jarreau has been one of my favorite singers for decades. I love his lyrics and style. I remember when he used to imitate the sounds of musical instruments I first heard him live in a concert at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor MI in the 70’s. He brought the house down with his energy and style.
Nina Simone
I have admired and loved Nina’s singing for years. Nina Simone was a very influential singer to generations of people. She spoke out against injustice and supported equal rights. Her interpretation of ‘To Be Young Gifted and Black’ still rings in my head. This mosaic is an abstract interpretation of her.
